Emily Nichols-Mitchell joined McGraw-Hill in October 2010, as the director talent acquisition, corporate and is responsible for managing the corporate segments’ talent acquisition function including vendor management, branding, campus and community outreach.
Prior to joining McGraw-Hill, Mrs. Nichols-Mitchell was the corporate HR talent acquisition manager for Public Service Enterprise Group where she was accountable for transforming the talent acquisition function and coaching the team to perform at their highest potential.
Before joining PSEG, Emily was the corporate director of talent acquisition for North Shore LIJ Healthcare System were used staffing best practices to lead the hiring and on-boarding of over 2000 new hires while reducing client complains by 80%. Before moving to New York, she worked for Eli Lilly as the HR communications, campus and diversity relations consultant.
Prior to Eli Lilly, Emily served as the regional community relations/public affairs manager for United Water were her vision, networking skills, leadership and corporate social responsibility efforts, won United Water numerous supplier diversity, leadership and community awards.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and she holds a Masters of Business Administration from University of Phoenix.

Tina's background includes internal coaching to executives, managers and employees. She has implemented, executed, and managed staffing and recruiting, on-boarding, performance management, talent management, and talent acquisition initiatives and strategies. Tina has built and led a start-up HR function, developed leadership competencies, and implemented New Hire On-Boarding programs.
Tina has had the opportunity to work with major media companies like Scholastic, NBC Universal, Sesame Workshop, and Reuters.

Elise James De-Cruise, Career Strategist, Corporate Learning and Development Professional for more than 10 years and Founder of AthletesWork, knows the competitive and corporate world from personal experience. Always a standout, as a high school basketball player she shattered records in scoring, rebounding, and blocked shots- she continued breaking records at Robert Morris University. Excelling at her studies in Communications, Elise also managed to become the first player at RMU whose career score included over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. She achieved many athletic records and titles and in 2005 was inducted to the Robert Morris University Hall of Fame.
Earning her Master of Science in Instructional Leadership, Elise's thesis researched career development, job readiness and transitional skills that carry over into the workplace for Student Athletes. Equipped with her M.S. degree, and drive, Elise developed her corporate career. Working for Fortune 500 Companies, Elise contributed in a variety of capacities; she led in positions ranging from leadership/professional development training, performance consulting, on-boarding, job shadowing program launches, technology training to new hire orientation “bootcamps,” and job readiness. As founder of AthletesWork she provides career related resources, coaching, hands on workshops and introduces employers to uniquely qualified individuals, and is Coach Elise for student - athletes ready to take their game to the next level - in sports and beyond.
J.C. Brillant
Senior Lead Recruiter for Robert Half Technology
J.C., is an IT Professional with over 10 years experience in both Infrastructure and Web Development. He received a B.S. in Information Technology at Briarcliff College and is in the process of obtaining a MBA/MIS degree from Keller Graduate School of Technology. He started his career at 1-800-Flowers.com as Tech Support Agent while he started his own company called EyeBottomLine.com a Web Development Group. As business took off he decided to leave 1-800-Flowers and run his business full time. His company landed accounts with various businesses from Water companies to real estate, to Hair Salons. Their break was when the landed the account to develop the biggest radio host in Black Radio at the time; WendyWilliamsWorld.com. This site became one of the biggest social networking sites in the New York Area with over 50,000 members. This attracted many advertisers and new businesses.
He is now Senior Lead Recruiter for Robert Half Technology for all of Long Island.
Derris Boomer

Derris Boomer has been a technology fanatic since his parents purchased his first computer in the 80’s. Since then he has worked for the Internal Revenue Service as well as Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Tiffany & Company and Polo Ralph Lauren.
Derris is a technology and business visionary with 15+ years leading the design, development, implementation and support of high-performance technology solutions. He has traveled the globe implementing systems in Europe, North America and South East Asia.
Derris started his own technology consulting firm "Boomer Technology Group" which contracts and sub-contracts systems implementation work. The firm provides consulting in all phases of software development projects. Recent clients include TEKsystems, Improvizations, Matlen Silver, Burlington Coat Factory, Children’s National Medical Center and Wyndham Worldwide.
Derris graduated from Kean University in 1994 with a B.S. in Management Science. He is currently pursuing his MBA from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is an active board member of the Good Shepherd Real Estate Holdings Corporation and member of BDPA New Jersey and PMI New Jersey.

Stuart Holland is a seasoned Information Technology professional with extensive experience in application programming. He has worked with several major national and international companies with a concentration in the financial services and telecommunications industries. He has successfully led and managed development teams focusing on client/server and intranet projects. Mr. Holland's areas of expertise include systems analysis and design, application programming, internet and distributed computing, and management and project planning. He specializes in server side Java application design and development, web technologies and database design and development.
Mr. Holland holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Information Systems and a BS in Mathematics. He is also a BDPA New York Member.
